Generally speaking use in many languages, the expression sex is commonly accustomed to necessarily mean “sexual activity”, but for specialized functions while in the context of sexuality and sexual well being discussions, the above mentioned definition is favored.  This complements the advice designed by the United Nations on faculty-base
